First for everything.
So today was the first time I ever told an adult that I love them and meant it. Don’t get me wrong I love many adults, parents, aunties and uncles but tonight was the first time I actually told someone to their face.
So my Grandma Mary is getting older and more frail with each passing day and it’s really hard for me to watch her get weaker and weaker when all I can think about is the woman who would watch me on my waiver days in elementary school, play basketball with me and treat me to McDonalds. I’ve been trying to visit her more often just to check up on her and see how she’s doing and all and it just so happened that tonight as I was leaving her house after bringing her dinner I told her to take care and that I loved her. She may have not realized the importance of what I had said but I really wish she could know how much I truly look up to and appreciate her. She’s one of the most caring people I have ever met in my life and I love her.
